Kolkata's pool parties had a reputation problem — low-profile, and worse. So we went the other way: Hyatt Regency partnered with us to stage a genuinely premium poolside social. European sunset-pool culture — Totem Tribe live percussion, Afro house DJs, fire artists, golden-hour light design — staged around the water on a full grounds takeover.

The story
Produced by DEX as lead organiser with two partners — reclaiming the format for the city and proving a premium pool-social can work in Kolkata.
The crowd, curated
80 handpicked micro-influencers and 20 marquee names, plus media coverage — chosen deliberately so the room stayed premium. No random promoter lists, ever.
The build
A 12 × 12 ft DJ stage raised 8 ft beside the pool, plus a full grounds build — gazebos, a bazaar, branded entry and a gaming zone — engineered, fabricated and installed by DEX's own crew. (An over-pool performance stage is designed and ready for a coming edition.)

Aug 2026 afterparty → Oct 2026 two-night festival · Hyatt Regency Kolkata

It started as the afterparty to European Summers — a ballroom turned club until 4 AM, with the stage handed to twelve of Kolkata's best homegrown DJs. Two months later it came back as its own festival: two nights over Durga Puja, 16–17 October 2026, with 20+ artists across both nights.

The room
A ballroom floor plan with GA, elevated table zones with their own entry and exit, wristband entry and full festival signage — plus the exitprotocol.in ticketing site and the campaign behind it.
Edition 1 · The afterparty
15 August 2026, 10 PM to 4 AM, right after European Summers. A 14 × 20 ft stage with crowd barriers and a full backstage, a GA floor and a table zone — and a live venue turnover, poolside strike and ballroom show-up in parallel, so the crowd walked from sunset into strobe without a gap.
Why it matters
An afterparty that grew into a two-night festival in two months, on our own ticket. Same discipline corporate clients hire us for.
